Roadie - The Crack 2

One very interesting sideways experience I had, was as a Band Roadie. Well, to be precise, it was assistant Roadie, and this became possible because whilst studying at Hull Marine College, the Students Union leader had founded an entertainment support company, and we students grabbed at a chance to earn a few extra pounds. We were engaged to unload and load the stage equipment, provide additional security, but my prize gig was working one of the two main spotlights for Girlschool and Uriah Heep.
